Before you start
Connect and check your stage display separately from the audience output.
Open stage tools
Open the stage display with Open stage, then choose Studio tools in the operator interface. Confirm that the speaker or stage team can read the display before sending a live cue.
Write the message
Enter the cue in Stage message. Keep it brief and specific, such as Finish in two minutes. Avoid putting private information into a cue that other people near the stage display may see.
Send the cue
Select Send message and confirm it appears on the stage display. The audience presentation remains a separate output. Agree with the speaker beforehand how they should respond to stage messages.
Update or clear it
Replace or clear the cue when it is no longer relevant using the stage controls. Check the display between service segments so an instruction meant for one speaker is not left for the next person.
If you need a hand
If the stage display does not update, confirm it is connected to the same running service and that you sent the message rather than only typing into the field.
