Before you start
Open Design & timing on a text slide.
Inspect the content guide
Look at the dashed content box over the preview. It marks where text is allowed to fit. The guide is visible to the operator only, so it will not add a border to the projected slide.
Set alignment
Choose Text alignment for left, centre or right alignment. Use Vertical position to place text at the top, centre or bottom of the content area. Review how line breaks read with the new alignment.
Adjust the available space
Change Content width, Content height, Position from left and Position from top. Keep enough margin around the text for the actual display. Text shrinks to fit the available area, so reducing the box can also reduce text size.
Check longer content
Preview your longest passage or announcement with this layout. If it becomes too small, shorten the wording or split it into several slides. Take the revised slide only after confirming its readability.
If you need a hand
A maximum text size is an upper limit, not a promise that every slide renders at that size. The amount of text and the content area affect the final fit.
