Before you start

Select an editable text slide in your service.

Select the right slide

Choose the slide in Slide order and check its preview. Confirm its label and position so you do not edit a similarly named item used later in the service.

Open Content

Select Content. Update Slide label and Slide text as needed. For an imported image page, the editor shows image controls instead of editable PowerPoint text; update the source deck when the words are part of an image.

Keep attribution accurate

Review Copyright / attribution when the slide contains a song or quoted material. Keep the required attribution with the content and check that it remains readable in the preview.

Review before taking

Close the dialog and inspect the changed preview. Keep Live updates off when you want to review edits before showing them. With Live updates enabled, edits can update the audience unless output is held or blacked out. Select Take slide when the revised content is approved for display.

If you need a hand

If text will not fit, shorten it, split it over slides or adjust the content area. Avoid shrinking text until it becomes unreadable from the back of the room.
