Set slide durations

Choose how long each slide remains on screen during timed rundown playback.

Before you start

Prepare the slides before enabling automatic playback.

Select a slide

Choose a slide in the rundown, then open Design & timing. Think about how long a person needs to read the text, not only how quickly the operator can move through the list.

Enter its duration

Set Seconds before next slide to the required duration. The control accepts values from 1 to 3600 seconds. Use longer durations for detailed announcements and avoid automatic timings for passages that a speaker may read at a variable pace.

Repeat for other slides

Close the dialog and set the duration of the remaining timed slides. Review the sequence so a default duration does not move unexpectedly past an important cue.

Rehearse playback

Use Play rundown during rehearsal and watch the timing on the actual output. Stop playback before making changes. Keep manual operation available for moments when the service moves differently from the prepared timings.

If you need a hand

Timing applies during rundown playback. Simply selecting a slide does not start the timer or take that slide to the audience.
