Preview a slide and take it to the audience

Keep the next cue ready while controlling exactly when the congregation sees it.

Before you start

Have a prepared rundown and check the audience display during rehearsal.

Select the next cue

Choose a slide in Slide order. Inspect its preview for the correct passage, lyrics or announcement. Selection prepares the slide. Keep Live updates off when the operator should explicitly take each revision.

Stage the slide

Use Stage slide when you want to prepare the cue through the rundown’s staging controls. Confirm the selected content before making the live transition, especially when the speaker changes the planned order.

Take it when ready

Choose Take slide at the agreed cue. Check the audience output after the transition. During live operation, keep your attention on the speaker and output rather than editing several unrelated items at once.

Prepare the following item

Select the next slide while the current frame remains on the audience output. Repeat the preview-and-take sequence. With Live updates off, take an edited slide again when you intend to show the revision.

If you need a hand

If the output stays black, check Blackout and use Restore output. If it remains frozen, inspect whether Hold is active before taking another cue.
