Before you start
Keep the original .pptx or PDF file so you can compare the imported result.
Prepare the deck
Remove pages you do not want projected and check the order. PDF and PowerPoint pages become static images; animations, embedded videos and editable PowerPoint objects do not carry across. Keep videos as separate media files.
Import the file
Open Service files and choose the service import control, then select your PDF or .pptx file. Pulpit Desktop offers an in-app download of PowerPoint support on first use. Prepare it in Settings before an offline service; no separate LibreOffice installation is needed. Web PowerPoint conversion requires a connection to the conversion service.
Review the preview
Wait for the import preview and compare every page with the source. Check fonts, image placement and page edges. If a PowerPoint slide differs, correct the source or export it to PDF and import that version.
Use and rehearse
Choose Use imported service after reviewing the preview. This replaces the open service, so preserve anything you need first. Select each imported slide, take it during rehearsal and confirm readability on the audience display.
If you need a hand
Unsupported or damaged files may fail conversion. Use .pptx rather than an older .ppt file, or export a clean PDF from the original presentation application.
