Find and present scripture offline

Follow along in Desktop. Recorded in the product with illustrative content. Use the player controls to pause, replay or view full screen. Captions describe the on-screen actions.

Before you start

Open Pulpit Desktop with valid local access. The bundled pack does not need a separate download.

Open Bible

Choose Bible from the Pulpit navigation. Wait for the pack check to finish. The offline panel identifies the World English Bible so you can confirm which translation is being used.

Choose the passage

Select Offline Bible book and Offline Bible chapter, then enter a verse number or contiguous range in Offline Bible verses. Choose Load passage to prepare the selection. Use short sections when a long passage would become difficult to read on one screen.

Review the words

Read the passage and its reference in the preview before projecting it. You can also use Search offline Bible to look for words in the bundled text, then select a matching result and check the reference.

Stage and take

Choose Stage passage to prepare the cue, then Take passage when the congregation should see it. Confirm the audience output. For another translation, check its provider access separately; the local pack does not include every online Bible version.

If you need a hand

If the range is rejected, check the chapter and use existing consecutive verses. The offline selector accepts up to 50 verses in one range, but smaller selections are usually more readable.
