Prepare a service for offline use

Check local content and media before disconnecting the production computer.

Follow along in Desktop. Recorded in the product with illustrative content. Use the player controls to pause, replay or view full screen. Captions describe the on-screen actions.

Before you start

Finish online account access, collaboration and AI preparation while connected.

Prepare desktop access

Sign in and use Prepare for offline use while connected. Check the access period shown by the app before the service. Account access, shared editing and online AI are separate from the local presentation files.

Save and inspect the media

Open the intended service and wait for its local save confirmation. In Service files, select Check offline media. Review missing assets and external image links; a cloud URL does not mean the file is saved on this computer.

Resolve missing content

Download or restore the files identified by the check, then run it again. Prepare the needed scripture in advance; the bundled World English Bible supports local lookup. Other translations may need online provider access.

Rehearse disconnected

Briefly disconnect during rehearsal and open the service, play each video and test the audience and stage outputs. Reconnect to refresh access or retrieve any missing content. Keep a portable service package as a backup.

If you need a hand

A successful file check verifies saved media, not every hardware or playback condition. Test the actual production computer, display and audio devices before the service.
