Before you start
Use an owner account and confirm which email addresses your volunteers use.
Open Security
Open Owner Settings and Security. Review the current invitation expiry and allowed-domain settings before making changes. These controls affect onboarding, so coordinate with anyone who is inviting new volunteers this week.
Set an expiry period
Adjust Invite expiry days to the period your church needs. The setting applies to new invitations. Shorter periods can reduce the time unused links remain active, but invitees still need enough time to read the message and join.
Review allowed email domains
Enter the allowed domains in the format shown by the form, separated by commas. Include the domains your intended recipients actually use. A church-only restriction can prevent volunteers with personal email accounts from receiving invitations.
Save the settings
Save and confirm the updated values before creating another invitation. Read the explanations beside other security controls: a stored MFA preference does not enable or enforce two-factor authentication. Use the controls according to their stated behaviour.
If you need a hand
If a legitimate invitation is rejected, compare its full email domain with the saved list. A new expiry setting does not make an already expired invitation usable again.
