Request a password reset

Get a password reset link for an account that uses email and password.

Before you start

Use an email inbox you can open and an active internet connection.

Open Forgot password?

From the sign-in form, select Forgot password?. This opens the reset request page. You do not need to know your existing password to request a reset, but you need access to the email address associated with the account.

Enter your account email

Enter your Email address carefully. Use the same address you originally registered or accepted an invitation with. Sending a request for a different address will not reset the password for your church account.

Request the link

Select Send reset link and wait for the response. The video demonstrates the form without sending a real email. In your account, follow the on-screen confirmation and check your inbox for the password reset message.

Use the email link

Open the link in the reset email and choose a new password on the page it opens. Keep the link private. If you requested several messages, use the most recent one and discard older messages to avoid using an invalid link.

If you need a hand

Check spam and junk folders and confirm the email spelling. Google-only accounts use Google’s account recovery. If the request fails, reconnect and retry before contacting your administrator.
